The Complete Nepal Trekking Packing List

Packing right for a Nepal trek can make the difference between an incredible experience and a miserable one. Here is our complete guide to what you should bring.

Clothing & Layering System

  • Base layer: 2-3 sets of merino wool or synthetic moisture-wicking underwear

  • Diamox (altitude sickness medication) — consult your doctor in advance
  • Travel insurance covering helicopter evacuation
  • Water purification tablets or filter

Documents & Money

  • Passport and copies
